The journey to LabHQ
Our journey started 10+ years ago. Frustrated by the complexity of traditional LIMS systems, we set out to create something different.
Discontent drives progress
Founded by Dr Paul Moran in 2012 in Yorkshire, England, LabHQ was born out of a struggle to find a LIMS solution that made sense for our UK-based MHRA & FDA GMP licensed contract laboratories.
Fast adoption across industries
Just a few years later, LabHQ was being used by multiple labs across industries, including one of the largest generic pharmaceutical manufacturers in the world.
Accredited, validated & widely trusted
By 2016, LabHQ achieved UKAS accredited certification to ISO 9001:2015 for quality management systems, rapidly growing its customer base across industries including textiles, lubricants & other manufacturing sectors.
Continuous product improvement & relaunch
With ongoing investment & product improvements informed by tight feedback loops with our customer base, LabHQ’s latest version launched in 2024 along with a commitment to making top-tier lab software accessible to all labs through a free-to-access option for startups, university spin-outs & early stage labs.
